Respond or update a record.
Use this page to submit an official response, correction, clarification, public answer, source, or status review request for an existing record. You do not need to be the person, project, or organisation named in a record to point to relevant public information. Submissions are reviewed before a record is changed. A submission does not automatically change a record's status or markers.
Send a response or update for review.
Use the form below to submit an official response, a correction, a public answer or source you have identified, a status review request, or other context for an existing record. Submissions are reviewed under the Method before a record is changed.
Required
Open to response.
Responses and corrections are part of the record. Where relevant, they may update a record's status, answer criteria, correction history, or public context.
If a record names you, your organisation, or a project you represent, you are welcome to submit a response, correction, or clarification, and so is anyone able to provide a public answer to a question that remains open. Relevant responses may be reflected in the record, added to the update log, or linked from the right-of-reply section.
Responses are reviewed under the same Method used for records. Contact details will not be published without permission, and the record will reflect your response accurately where appropriate, regardless of whether it agrees with the question.
What to include
Responses should identify:
- the record being addressed;
- any factual correction requested;
- any clarification or context;
- the answer being provided, if applicable;
- supporting public sources where available;
- whether the response may be published or quoted.
Responses can be sent to questions@questionsforsolana.com.
Where appropriate, responses will be added to the relevant record, linked, summarised accurately, or reflected in the record status.
If a response materially addresses a question, the record status may be updated to reflect the current state of the record.
Public answers or clarifications identified in external sources may also be reflected in the record without a direct submission.
Email responseHow responses are reflected.
A record's primary status reflects where the question currently stands, and any correction or maintenance is noted separately with a record marker. A response does not need to be submitted directly through this site to be reflected in the record.
A response submitted directly through Questions for Solana is generally marked Response received while it is reviewed, then updated to Partially answered, Answered, or Closed as appropriate. A relevant public answer identified elsewhere, such as an official statement, documentation update, forum post, or governance post, is generally marked Public answer identified while it is reviewed, then updated the same way.
Status labels and record markers used are the same as those in the public ledger and set out in full in Method. Status labels and record markers are editorial tracking tools. They are not legal findings, liability findings, or determinations of wrongdoing.
Primary status
- Open: the record is published and the question remains open.
- Awaiting public answer: no substantive public answer has yet been identified or recorded.
- Response received: a response, correction, or clarification has been submitted directly to Questions for Solana and is being reviewed.
- Public answer identified: a relevant public statement, documentation update, or official source has been identified and is being reviewed or reflected in the record.
- Partially answered: a direct response or public answer addresses some, but not all, material points.
- Answered: a direct response or public answer addresses the material question clearly enough to be recorded as answered.
- Closed: the record is no longer open because it has been answered, withdrawn, superseded, or otherwise closed.
Record markers
- Corrected: the record has been corrected after review, clarification, right of reply, or a public-source update.
- Updated: the record has been updated to reflect new information, a response, or a public-source development.
- Withdrawn: the record has been withdrawn because it no longer meets the publication standard, has been superseded, or should not remain active in its original form.
- Archived: the record is no longer active but remains accessible for transparency.
Status labels and markers are applied to reflect facts, not outcomes for any party. The aim is accuracy.
